Search and Rescue (SAR)
Assisting persons or property in potential or actual distress.
Recreational Boating Safety (RBS)
Using preventive means to minimize loss of life, personal injury, property damage, and environmental impact associated with the use of recreational boats to maximize safe use and enjoyment of U.S. waterways.
Marine Environmental Protection (MEP)
Protecting public health and safety, natural resources, property, and economic resources and activities from the consequences of oil and hazardous material incidents through prevention and, if prevention fails, appropriate response.
